Join civics educators from across Colorado for an in-depth professional learning experience for educators focused on strengthening civic instruction and student engagement.

Civics for Colorado is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of civic education leaders by offering high-quality professional development. Through an immersive, in-person 3.5-day Summer Institute, teachers engage in civics-focused learning tracks while building meaningful connections with fellow educators. The program is anchored in three locations across the state, fostering strong regional communities of practice.

All sessions will model best practices for high quality teaching and learning and are strictly non partisan. Civics for Colorado will provide follow-up coaching sessions to educator participants.

Stipend for Attendees

Participants will be paid a stipend of $800 for attending 3.5 days of Summer Institute and an additional $300 to enroll in follow up coaching and applying lessons in your classroom.
